Where can you find an occupational therapist?
You may be referred to an occupational therapist by your doctor or specialist, or other health professional, friend, relative or by making direct contact yourself.
Patients with chronic and complex health needs may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for occupational therapy services under the Enhanced Primary Care program. Visit the Medicare website for more information. Check with your health fund to find out if you are entitled to a rebate for occupational therapy services.
Under the Trade Practies Act, OT AUSTRALIA Qld cannot provide a recommended schedule of occupational therapy service fees.
